Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.

- In your prepared baking dish, combine chicken broth, white rice, lemon juice, melted butter, lemon zest, minced garlic, onion powder, one teaspoon of salt, dried basil, pepper, and thyme. Stir well.
- Season the cubed chicken with salt and lemon pepper.
Baking
- Nestle the seasoned chicken into the baking dish with the other ingredients.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Layer thin slices of lemon on top of the dish.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Allow the dish to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
