Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix the red velvet cake mix, vegetable oil, and 2 eggs until smoothly blended.
  3. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth it out.
  4. In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, 1 egg, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  5. Spread the cheesecake layer evenly over the first red velvet batter.
  6. Spoon the rest of the red velvet batter carefully over the cheesecake layer.
  7. Use a knife to gently swirl the layers together.
  8. Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

Store leftover brownies in an airtight container for up to three days, or refrigerate for longer storage. They can be frozen for up to three months.
