Preparation
  1. Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt.
  2. Slice the mushrooms evenly to ensure uniform cooking.
  3. Rinse the spinach under cold water and set aside to drain.
  4. Minced garlic if using whole cloves for optimal flavor.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown and tender.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the spinach to the skillet, stirring until wilted, about 2 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serving
  1. Remove the pan from heat and let it sit for a moment to allow flavors to meld.
  2. Transfer to a serving dish and serve warm.
