Ingredients
  

Shrimp Marinade
  • 1 lb Large Wild Shrimp (thawed, peeled, deveined) Packed with protein.

Taco Assembly
  • 4 pieces Flour Tortillas Soft and pliable.
  • 2 Cups Shredded Green Cabbage Adds crunch and fiber.
  • 1 piece Red or Orange Bell Pepper (sliced thin) For sweetness and color.
  • 1 piece Avocado Adds richness.
  • 1 bunch Cilantro Optional but recommended.
  • 8 ounces Sour Cream Cooling element for the tacos.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the thawed shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, onion powder, sea salt, and ground pepper. Toss well to coat and let marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  2. While the shrimp marinates, shred cabbage, slice bell pepper, and prepare avocado.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove from heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix sour cream, remaining chili powder, hot sauce, and lime juice. Adjust seasoning as needed.
Assembly
  1. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
  2. Layer each tortilla with cabbage, shrimp, bell pepper, and avocado. Drizzle with sauce and top with cilantro.
Serving
  1. Enjoy the tacos fresh with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

Prepping the ingredients ahead of time can save time during busy weeknights. For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeƱos with the cabbage.
