Ingredients

Dressing Ingredients
  • 1 cup Tahini Give it a good stir before measuring.
  • 2 tbsp Agave Nectar Can substitute with honey or maple syrup.
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice Fresh is best; bottled juice will work in a pinch.
  • 1 clove Garlic Grated fresh garlic enhances flavor; garlic powder can be used for convenience.
  • 1 pinch Kosher Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 cup Cold Water Adjusts the consistency.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the tahini, agave nectar, lemon juice, grated garlic, and salt.
  2. Whisk these ingredients together until well combined.
  3. Gradually add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, whisking until you achieve the desired consistency.
  4. Note: The dressing will thicken as it rests; simply add a splash of water and re-whisk to loosen if needed.

Notes

Make it your own by adding herbs like parsley or dill. Double the batch for quick salads later. Experiment with adding a pinch of cumin or smoked paprika for extra flavor.
