Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lay the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Spoon about 2 tablespoons of apple pie filling into the center of each pastry square.
- Fold each square diagonally to form triangles and seal the edges with a fork.
- Whisk the egg and water in a small bowl, then brush over each croissant.
- Sprinkle raw sugar on top.
Baking
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
- Allow croissants to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with a drizzle of caramel or a dusting of powdered sugar. For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of cinnamon to your apple pie filling.
