  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adjust based on your preference.
  • 1 tsp paprika Provides a subtle smokiness and color.
  • 1 tsp salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper Fresh ground is best for maximum flavor.
  • 1 pre-made pie crust Can be found in refrigerated or frozen sections.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil Use any cooking oil you prefer.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic, sautéing until they are soft and fragrant, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the shrimp into the skillet, cooking until they turn pink and are cooked through, around 4-5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  4. In a bowl, combine the heavy cream, sour cream, shredded cheese, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until smooth.
  5. Pour the shrimp mixture into the bowl with the cream mixture, gently folding to combine.
  6. Pour the combined mixture into a pre-made pie crust, spreading it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is set.
  2. Let the pie cool slightly, then garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with a simple salad for a complete meal.

Notes

If you have any leftovers, allow the pie to cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. The pie can be frozen for up to three months; wrap tightly with plastic wrap and foil.
