- Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Form cheese into small balls.
- Dip each ball in the flour mixture, then in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Fry the cheese bites until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes, ensuring they don’t crowd the pan.
- Remove and drain on paper towels before serving hot.
Notes
Avoid overcrowding the pan to prevent uneven frying. Check oil temperature with a thermometer; around 350°F is ideal. Let the cheese bites rest for a minute before serving—they’ll firm up slightly.
