Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400ºF (200ºC).
- Line a baking sheet with foil large enough to fold over and seal the fish.
- In a small bowl, combine lemon juice, minced garlic, and melted butter. Whisk together.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and pour the butter mixture over them.
- Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
- Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon to ensure it is well sealed.
Cooking
- Bake the salmon in the oven for about 12-16 minutes, depending on the fillet thickness.
- Open the foil and broil the salmon for 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye to avoid burning.
- Remove from the oven and pour some of the remaining butter sauce from the foil over the salmon before serving.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon slices.
Notes
Ensure not to crowd the pan to allow for even cooking. Use parchment paper for easier cleanup. You can add seasonal vegetables in the foil packet for added flavor and nutrition.
