Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb Steak (sirloin or ribeye) A tender cut works best. Flank steak can be used for a leaner option.
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Swap with fresh garlic for a stronger flavor.
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder Enhances savory notes; optional.
  • to taste Salt Essential for flavor enhancement.
  • to taste Black Pepper Adds heat; white pepper can be used as an alternative.
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil For frying; use any high smoke point oil.
  • 3 tbsp Butter Adds richness; margarine can be substituted.
  • Fresh Parsley For garnish; optional.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a glass bowl, combine steak bites, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Once the skillet is hot, add steak bites in a single layer. Cook in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
  3. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring often, until desired doneness is achieved.
  4. Add butter to the skillet and cook for about 1 minute until it melts and the garlic is fragrant.
  5. Remove from heat and toss steak bites in the garlic butter mixture.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the skillet to ensure proper searing. Let steak sit at room temperature before cooking for even cooking. Use a meat thermometer: 130°F for medium-rare. Let the steak rest after cooking for juiciness.
