Method
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the baking pan with nonstick spray, foil, or parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix chicken breasts with paprika, crushed bouillon cube, onion powder, garlic powder, and lemon juice until evenly coated.
- Arrange the coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
Making the Topping
- In a medium bowl, combine vegetable oil, melted butter, Parmesan cheese, pepper, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, and the remaining paprika. Stir to blend thoroughly.
- Spoon half of the mixture over the arranged chicken, ensuring even coverage.
Baking
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and serve hot with a spoonful of pan juices poured over the top.
Notes
For optimal flavor, marinate the chicken for a couple of hours or overnight. Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure even cooking. If you want a golden crust, broil for an additional minute or two, watching closely to prevent burning.
