  • 4 cloves minced garlic Adjust based on preference.
  • 1 large egg Binds the ingredients together.
  • 0.25 cup whole milk Can substitute with almond milk or any non-dairy milk.
  • 3 tablespoons chopped parsley Can use herbs like thyme or oregano.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper Consider adding red pepper flakes for heat.
  • 0.5 cup shredded Parmesan cheese Can replace with cheddar for a different flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your loaf pan by spraying it with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced onion, minced garlic, egg, milk, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared loaf pan.
  4. Sprinkle the top with shredded Parmesan cheese and additional chopped parsley.
  5. Bake in the oven for 1 hour. For the last two minutes, switch to broil to achieve a golden crust.

Notes

Avoid overmixing to prevent tough texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
