  • 1 teaspoon salt Enhances all the flavors. Adjust to personal preference.
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper Offers a hint of spice.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Adds color and depth. Smoked paprika can introduce an extra layer of flavor.
  • to taste Fresh parsley, for garnish A sprinkle before serving brightens the dish and adds freshness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure your chicken bakes evenly.
  2. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir until well mixed.
Cooking
  1. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish, ensuring they are arranged in a single layer. Pour the marinade over the chicken and coat them evenly.
  2. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. The chicken is done when the juices run clear and it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  3. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Marinate the chicken overnight for deeper flavor. This recipe can easily be doubled for meal prep. Leftovers can be used in wraps, salads, or grain bowls.
