Preparation
- Preheat your cooking surface: prepare a grill, grill pan, or skillet over medium heat.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Feta, olives, parsley, lemon juice, oregano, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper until thoroughly combined.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Spray your cooking surface with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.
Cooking
- Place the shaped patties onto the hot grill or pan, cooking until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- In a medium bowl, combine the squeezed cucumber, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced parsley, salt, and garlic for the tzatziki sauce, mixing until well-blended.
Assembly
- Place each turkey patty on a bun, layering with cucumber, tomato, red onion, and lettuce, and drizzling with tzatziki sauce.
- Optionally, add extra parsley on top for a beautiful finish.
Notes
Use a thermometer to check patty temperature; they should be 165°F. Experiment with toppings for customization.
