Preparation
  1. Prepare the grill by heating a grill pan or BBQ until hot.
  2. Slice the tomatoes into thick slices.
Grilling
  1. Place the tomato slices on the hot grill and cook on both sides for 3-4 minutes until grill marks appear.
  2. Carefully remove the grilled tomatoes and transfer them to a clean plate.
Assembly
  1. Top each warm tomato slice with a slice of fresh mozzarella.
