Ingredients
  

Sauce
  • 3 Tbsp Brown Sugar or Honey Adds sweetness; honey enhances the dish’s flavor profile.
  • 3 Tbsp Teriyaki Sauce Provides a savory base; soy sauce can work in a pinch.
  • 1/2 Cup Soy Sauce Brings saltiness and umami; low-sodium if preferred.
Main Ingredients
  • 16 oz Spaghetti Acts as the noodles base; use rice noodles for gluten-free alternatives.
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil Adds nuttiness; olive oil can suit if needed.
  • 3 Tbsp Butter For a rich, flavorful sauté; substitute with vegan butter for a dairy-free approach.
  • 2 Large Carrots, Sliced Adds crunch and sweetness; bell peppers can replace them.
  • 2 Large Celery Stalks, Sliced Provides crisp texture; omit if not preferred.
  • 16 oz Shrimp, Raw, peeled and tails removed The star ingredient; chicken or tofu can also work.
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic, Minced Elevates the aroma; use garlic powder for a milder flavor.
  • Salt & Pepper for seasoning Essential for enhancing flavors; adjust to taste.
  • 1 Tbsp Sriracha, optional For heat; chili flakes can also add a bit of spice.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar or honey, soy sauce, and teriyaki sauce until incorporated; set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or pot, bring about 4 quarts of water to a rolling boil.
  3. Add the spaghetti; stir and cook until al dente, about 10 minutes. Drain and toss in sesame oil.
Cooking
  1. In the same pan, melt the butter. Add carrots and celery, cooking for about 3-4 minutes until soft. Season with salt & pepper.
  2. Add shrimp and cook until no longer pink, about 2-3 minutes. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add spaghetti to the pan and toss everything with tongs. Pour in the sauce mix and heat through until it simmers.
  4. Remove from heat and serve, topping with Sriracha for those who like it spicy.

Notes

To enhance cooking experience: Prepare ingredients beforehand and avoid overcrowding the pan.
