Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix Greek yogurt, self-rising flour, protein powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 2-3 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick (approximately 12x8 inches).
- Spread marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border around the edges.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and chopped turkey pepperoni over the sauce.
- Starting from the long side, roll the dough up tightly like a jelly roll, maintaining tension throughout.
- Cut the roll into 8-10 equal pieces with a sharp knife.
- Place the cut side up on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Baking
- Mix melted butter and garlic powder in a small bowl and brush generously over the tops of the rolls.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. Serve warm.
Notes
Serve with additional marinara sauce for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
