  1. In a medium saucepan, add ½ cup unsalted butter and 4 ounces cream cheese. Heat over medium, whisking until melted and combined.
  2. Gradually whisk in 2 cups heavy whipping cream until fully incorporated. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. Add ½ teaspoon minced garlic, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, ¼ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper. Continue whisking until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Gradually add 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese while whisking until melted and combined. Allow it to simmer for 3-5 minutes, whisking occasionally, until thickened.
  5. Toss the sauce with your favorite pasta or serve as desired.

Notes

Whisk continuously to ensure a smooth sauce without lumps. For storage, refrigerate in an airtight container for 3-4 days or freeze for 2-3 months.
