Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and stir.
  4. Add oregano, basil, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Let the sauce simmer for about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

For extra depth, add a pinch of sugar if the sauce is too acidic. Consider adding a splash of red wine for added complexity. This sauce is gluten-free and easily adjustable for various dietary restrictions.
