Preparation
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat until fully melted.
- Add marshmallows and stir until completely combined and melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Carefully fold in Rice Krispies cereal and any sprinkles desired.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch pan, pressing evenly.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
Tips: Use a silicone spatula for easy mixing. Mix quickly but gently to avoid crushing the cereal. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days, or freeze in squares for up to a month.
