Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture and mix until a dough forms.

- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise for 1 hour.
Cooking
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add baking soda.
- Divide the dough into small pieces, roll into bites, and boil them for about 30 seconds each.
- Place the pretzel bites on the prepared baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and sprinkle with coarse salt.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
