Method
 

Preparation
  1. Add chicken breast cubes to a bowl, then toss with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until coated evenly.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cooking
  1. Add chicken cubes in a single layer and cook for 6–8 minutes, turning until golden and cooked through.
  2. Once cooked, reduce heat and add minced garlic. Stir for 30 seconds.
  3. Pour in honey, chicken stock, lemon juice, and hot sauce if using. Stir to coat all the chicken pieces.
  4. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and clings to the chicken.
  5. Remove from heat, garnish with parsley and chili flakes, and serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Consider meal prepping by chopping chicken and preparing sauce ahead of time. Marinade chicken in honey and garlic for an hour before cooking for deeper flavor. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Can be frozen for up to three months.
