Ingredients

For the Dip
  • 1 1/2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips Substitute with dark chocolate for a more intense taste.
  • 1 1/2 cups Heavy Cream (divided) Coconut cream for dairy-free or whole milk for a lighter option.
  • 1 packet Hot Cocoa Mix Opt for unsweetened cocoa powder for a less sweet dip.
  • 8 oz Marshmallow Fluff Melted marshmallows can work in a pinch.
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract Try almond extract for a fun twist.
  • 1 pinch Salt Balances sweetness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Mix together semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Microwave this mixture until smoothly melted, stirring every 30 seconds to prevent burning.
  3. Stir in the hot cocoa mix until fully combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the remaining 1 cup of heavy cream, marshmallow fluff, vanilla extract, and a tiny pinch of salt.
  5. Beat this mixture with an electric hand mixer until stiff peaks form.
  6. Gently fold the whipped cream mixture into the melted chocolate until smoothly combined.
Chilling and Serving
  1. Chill the dip for about 30 minutes to set, though it can be served immediately.
  2. Transfer to a serving bowl and top with chocolate shavings, crushed candy canes, or mini marshmallows.
  3. Serve with dippers like animal crackers, graham crackers, apple slices, vanilla wafers, or shortbread cookies.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. For best consistency, stir before serving after chilling. Freezing is not recommended due to potential separation.
