  • 1 cup Unsalted butter Feel free to substitute with vegan butter for a dairy-free option.
Flavor Enhancers
  • 2 cloves Minced garlic Use garlic powder as a substitute for a subtler taste.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley Swap for cilantro or chives if desired.
  • 1 tablespoon Chives Green onions also work as a substitute.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice Vinegar can serve in a pinch.
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce Omit for a vegan version.
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika Regular paprika is suitable as well.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Essential for balancing flavors; adjust to your taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter with minced garlic, parsley, chives, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Using a hand mixer or a spatula, blend the ingredients until well combined and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more salt or lemon juice to your preference.
  4. Transfer the mixture onto a piece of parchment paper, shape it into a log, and roll it tightly.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until firm.
  6. Slice into rounds and serve on warm bread or grilled meats.

Notes

To store your remaining cowboy butter, wrap it well in parchment paper and place it in an airtight container. It will last in the fridge for about two weeks. You can freeze cowboy butter for up to 3 months. When ready to use, thaw it in the fridge before serving.
