Preparation
- Place the chicken breasts in the Instant Pot. Lay them flat to ensure even cooking and good pressure distribution.
- In a small bowl, combine chicken broth, olive oil, taco seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Seal the Instant Pot lid and set it to cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
- Allow for a natural release for 5 minutes, then carefully open the valve to release any remaining pressure.
- Shred the chicken using two forks, stirring it into the cooking liquid.
Notes
To enhance flavor, marinate chicken with seasoning overnight. If using frozen chicken, add 5–10 minutes to the cooking time, increasing liquid slightly. Experiment with different seasonings.
