Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pour water into the Instant Pot stainless-steel insert.
  2. Place the steamer basket in the insert, spacing vegetables evenly.
  3. Secure the lid and set the vent to the sealing position.
Cooking
  1. Set the Steam preset for 0 minutes at high pressure. For softer veggies, set to 1 minute.
  2. When time is up, manually release the pressure. Wait for the pin to drop before opening the lid.
  3. Using heat-safe mitts, remove the steamer basket.
Serving
  1. Transfer the cooked vegetables to a bowl and season with spices or dressings of choice.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the steamer basket for even cooking. For an added burst of flavor, try fresh herbs post-cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
