Preparation of Marination
- In a bowl, mix the honey, hoisin sauce, and five-spice powder until combined.
Marinate the Chicken
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and ensure they are thoroughly coated. Let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or longer for maximum flavor).
Cooking
- Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
- Grill the marinated chicken thighs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 25-30 minutes, or until fully cooked.
Finishing Touch
- Once cooked, remove from heat and sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
