Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Melt butter over medium heat in a pan and add the minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, approximately 1-2 minutes.

  4. Season cod fillets with salt and pepper and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
  5. Pour the lemon garlic butter sauce over the cod, making sure to coat them well.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cod flakes easily with a fork and is opaque.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. The cooked cod can also be frozen for two months.
