Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the bread flour, instant yeast, and salt.
- Slowly add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean cloth, and let it rise for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
Baking
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Punch down the dough and spread it out on a greased baking sheet.
- Create dimples in the dough with your fingers, then drizzle with hot honey and sprinkle with fresh herbs and flaky sea salt.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For best results, use fresh herbs and experiment with different varieties. To get a crunchier crust, place a pan of water in the oven during baking.
