Steak Ingredients
  • 2 Ribeye, New York, or Tri Tip steaks (1-inch thick) Choose based on your personal preference.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Substitutable with avocado oil.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Feel free to experiment with dried herbs.
  • to taste salt and pepper Use fresh cracked pepper for maximum impact.
  • ¼ cup softened unsalted butter Ghee can be used for dairy-free.
  • 1 clove minced garlic Substitute with ½ teaspoon garlic powder if needed.
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, thyme, and parsley Dried versions can be used if fresh isn’t available.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Rub 1 tablespoon of olive oil on each side of the steaks.
  3. Generously season each side with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Place the steaks in the air fryer basket.
  2. Cook for 12 minutes, turning halfway after 6 minutes.
Finishing Touches
  1. Allow the steaks to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  2. In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, and fresh herbs, stirring until smooth.
  3. Smother the steaks in the creamy garlic herb butter before serving.

Notes

Allow steaks to come to room temperature before cooking for more even cooking. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer for best cooking results.
