Prepare Yogurt Sauce
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, mint, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Refrigerate until needed.
Prepare Meatballs
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, egg, breadcrumbs, parsley, mint, onion, allspice, cumin, cinnamon, black pepper, and salt. Mix thoroughly until combined.
- Form into 1-inch meatballs, yielding approximately 16 to 20 meatballs.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil and arrange the meatballs in a single layer.
- Lightly spray the meatballs with additional cooking spray.
Cook Meatballs
- Air fry the meatballs for 15 to 18 minutes or until cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of at least 160°F (71°C).
- Serve warm with the yogurt mint sauce.
Notes
Feel free to use gluten-free breadcrumbs or substitute the ground lamb with ground turkey or chicken while keeping the spice mix.
