Yogurt Mint Sauce
  • 1 cup plain yogurt Creamy base for the dipping sauce.

Method
 

Prepare Yogurt Sauce
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, mint, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Refrigerate until needed.
Prepare Meatballs
  1. Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, egg, breadcrumbs, parsley, mint, onion, allspice, cumin, cinnamon, black pepper, and salt. Mix thoroughly until combined.
  3. Form into 1-inch meatballs, yielding approximately 16 to 20 meatballs.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil and arrange the meatballs in a single layer.
  5. Lightly spray the meatballs with additional cooking spray.
Cook Meatballs
  1. Air fry the meatballs for 15 to 18 minutes or until cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of at least 160°F (71°C).
  2. Serve warm with the yogurt mint sauce.

Notes

Feel free to use gluten-free breadcrumbs or substitute the ground lamb with ground turkey or chicken while keeping the spice mix.
