Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until combined.
Cooking
  1. Place the halibut fillets in the prepared baking dish.
  2. Brush the melted lemon herb butter generously over each fillet.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is opaque.
Serving
  1. Remove the halibut from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  2. Plate the fillets, drizzling any remaining herb butter over the top.
  3. Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.

Notes

Ensure your butter is melted over low heat. Letting the butter mixture sit for a few minutes before brushing can enhance the flavor. Watch carefully while cooking to prevent overcooking, which can lead to a rubbery texture. Store leftovers in a sealed container for up to 2 days.
