Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Getting it hot ensures that the casserole cooks evenly.
- In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom.
- Layer half of the ravioli over the sauce.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, then spread half of the mixture over the ravioli.
- Sprinkle with a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients, finishing with a layer of cheese on top.
Cooking
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with a light salad or steamed vegetables. Leftovers can last in the fridge for up to four days. This dish can be frozen before baking for up to three months.
