Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a mini donut pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Mix the wet and dry ingredients until combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Fill each donut hole halfway with batter, add a dollop of Nutella, then top with more batter until almost full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden. Allow to cool slightly.
- Roll the warm donuts in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Serve immediately.
Notes
Serve warm with extra Nutella for dipping and a sprinkle of powdered sugar. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. Can be frozen - just reheat in the oven.
