  • 2 cups powdered sugar Sweetness and texture; you can also use a sugar substitute for a lower-calorie option.
  • 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers Adds a light crunch; you can replace with graham cracker crumbs if preferred.
  • 1/2 cup orange zest Brings brightness and zest; be sure to zest only the colorful part for maximum flavor.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Enhances all the flavors; opt for pure vanilla for the best taste.
Coating
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips The sweet coating; consider using a dairy-free version if needed.
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil Helps the chocolate melt smoothly; you can substitute with vegetable oil.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Add crushed vanilla wafers, orange zest, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Shaping
  1. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  2. Freeze the truffles for 1 hour.
Coating
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate chips with coconut oil until smooth.
  2. Dip each frozen truffle into the melted chocolate and return to the baking sheet.
  3. Let the chocolate set before serving.

Notes

To keep your truffles fresh, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. These truffles freeze wonderfully for up to three months.
