  • 1 teaspoon Salt Essential for flavor, adjust based on preference.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Use fresh ground pepper for best taste.
Peanut Sauce Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Peanut butter Provides creaminess; can substitute with almond butter.
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce Low-sodium versions available.
  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar Can substitute with apple cider vinegar.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil Nutty flavor; olive oil can be used in a pinch.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh is best.
  • 1 inch Ginger, grated Fresh is recommended.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground meat, chopped vegetables, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  3. Place a spoonful of the mixture in the center of each dumpling wrapper and fold to seal tightly.
  4. Arrange the dumplings on a baking sheet and brush them lightly with oil.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  2. Meanwhile, whisk together peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a small bowl to create the dipping sauce.
  3. Serve the dumplings warm with the peanut sauce on the side.

Notes

Allow dumplings to cool slightly before serving. Experiment with different filling combinations. Double the recipe for larger crowds or to freeze.
