Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the crumbled feta, ricotta, oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.
- Lay out one sheet of phyllo dough and brush it lightly with melted butter. Place another sheet on top and brush again.
- Cut the layered phyllo into strips about 4 inches wide.
- Place a tablespoon of the cheese mixture at one end of each strip and roll it up tightly, tucking in the sides as you go.
- Place the rolls seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and brush the tops with more melted butter.
Baking
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- While the rolls are baking, combine honey and chili flakes in a small saucepan over low heat until warmed and well mixed.
- Drizzle the chili honey over the baked feta rolls just before serving.
Notes
Avoid skipping the layering of phyllo dough to ensure crispiness. Brush generously with butter to prevent sogginess. Thaw phyllo dough overnight for easier rolling.
