Pastry Ingredients
  • 1 package Flaky pastry sheets Creates a light, crispy texture.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For brushing the pastry.
Condiments
  • 2 tbsp Honey Adds natural sweetness.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Essential for enhancing flavors.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove the feta cheese from its package and pat dry with a paper towel.
  3. Cut the feta into equal-sized rectangles.
  4. Unfold the flaky pastry sheets on a clean surface.
Cooking/Assembling
  1. Lay one sheet of flaky pastry on the counter and brush it lightly with olive oil.
  2. Place one rectangle of feta on the edge of the pastry; sprinkle with chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
  3. Fold the pastry over the feta and roll it tightly.
  4. Repeat with remaining feta and pastry sheets.
  5. Place the rolls seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the tops with more olive oil.
  7. Bake for about 15-20 minutes until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
Serving
  1. Let the rolls cool slightly after baking.
  2. Drizzle honey over the warm rolls.
  3. Serve warm and enjoy immediately.

Notes

For best results, use fresh flaky pastry and brush with olive oil before and after baking. Great for meal prep and can be frozen.
