Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove the feta cheese from its package and pat dry with a paper towel.
- Cut the feta into equal-sized rectangles.
- Unfold the flaky pastry sheets on a clean surface.
Cooking/Assembling
- Lay one sheet of flaky pastry on the counter and brush it lightly with olive oil.
- Place one rectangle of feta on the edge of the pastry; sprinkle with chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Fold the pastry over the feta and roll it tightly.
- Repeat with remaining feta and pastry sheets.
- Place the rolls seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with more olive oil.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
Serving
- Let the rolls cool slightly after baking.
- Drizzle honey over the warm rolls.
- Serve warm and enjoy immediately.
Notes
For best results, use fresh flaky pastry and brush with olive oil before and after baking. Great for meal prep and can be frozen.
