Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (190°C).
  2. Line a 15x10 inch baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking powder.
  4. In a large bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar for 2 minutes until light and fluffy.
  5. Mix in peanut butter, vanilla, and egg until fully combined.
  6. Gradually add dry mixture to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Gently fold in chocolate chips or chunks.
  8. Spread the dough evenly into the prepared baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  2. Allow to cool in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
