  • 2 cups Rolled Oats Thick and hearty; can substitute with quick oats.
  • 1 cup Protein Powder Use your preferred brand or a plant-based alternative.
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter Substitute with almond butter if allergies are a concern.
  • 1/3 cup Maple Syrup Consider honey or agave syrup as an alternative.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, add the oats and protein powder and mix until combined.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, add the peanut butter and maple syrup. Microwave until the peanut butter has melted (about 20-30 seconds).
  3. Add the peanut butter mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. Using your hands, form small balls from the batter and place them on a lined plate.
  5. Refrigerate for at least an hour to firm up.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
