  • 2 medium Pears, sliced Choose ripe pears for sweetness; substitute with apples if desired.
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts Can be replaced with almonds or pecans.
Toppings
  • 1/2 cup Goat cheese, crumbled Feta can be used as an alternative.
Dressing
  • 1/4 cup Balsamic vinaigrette Store-bought or homemade.
  • to taste Salt To enhance flavors.
  • to taste Pepper Adds subtle spiciness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, sliced pears, and walnuts.
  2. Sprinkle goat cheese over the top.
  3. Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Toss gently to combine and serve.

Notes

Serve chilled or at room temperature. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days but keep dressing separate until serving to prevent wilting. Freezing is not recommended.
