Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup oats Can substitute with oat flour for finer texture.
  • 1 scoop protein powder Use your favorite type (whey, pea, or casein).
  • 1 large banana Can use applesauce for a lower-sugar alternative.
  • 2 eggs eggs Flax eggs can work as a plant-based substitute.
  • 1/2 cup milk Non-dairy alternatives like almond or oat milk can be used.
  • 1 tsp baking powder Helps waffles rise for a crispy texture.
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon Experiment with nutmeg for a different flavor.
  • 1 pinch salt Balances the flavors.
Optional Toppings
  • Fresh fruits, syrup, or nut butter Customize your waffles as per your taste.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the waffle maker.
  2. In a blender, combine oats, protein powder, banana, eggs, milk, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
  3. Pour the desired amount of batter into the preheated waffle maker and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions until crispy.
  4. Serve warm with your choice of toppings.

Notes

Avoid not blending the batter long enough and overfilling the waffle maker. For better results, whip egg whites separately and fold them in for fluffiness. Can freeze waffles for up to 3 months.
