Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces Chicken thighs Juicy and flavorful base
  • 1/3 cup Soy sauce Adds umami depth
  • 1/2 cup Pineapple juice Brings sweetness and acidity
  • 1/4 cup Honey Natural sweetness balance
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced for aromatic flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Grated for warm, zesty flavor
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions Fresh garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds For crunchy texture contrast

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, pineapple juice, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and let them soak for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Place the marinated chicken thighs into the prepared baking dish.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F / 74°C).
  3. For an extra char, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of cooking.
Serving
  1. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
  3. Serve warm and enjoy alongside your favorite sides.

Notes

Marinate the chicken overnight for deeper flavor. Reserve some marinade to baste during cooking for additional moisture. Use a meat thermometer to ensure perfectly cooked chicken. For a crisper texture, broil the chicken for a few minutes after baking. Pair with steamed rice or quinoa for a complete meal. Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
