- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, pineapple juice, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and let them soak for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
Cooking
- Place the marinated chicken thighs into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F / 74°C).
- For an extra char, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of cooking.
Serving
- Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve warm and enjoy alongside your favorite sides.
Notes
Marinate the chicken overnight for deeper flavor. Reserve some marinade to baste during cooking for additional moisture. Use a meat thermometer to ensure perfectly cooked chicken.
