Preparation
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and garlic; sauté until softened.
  3. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the chopped cabbage, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook until the cabbage is tender, about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

Make it a one-pan meal by adding some chopped carrots or bell peppers. For added richness, finish with a sprinkle of shredded cheese just before serving. Reheat leftovers in a skillet to retain the cabbage's texture.
