  • 1 pound large shrimp Fresh is best; thaw if using frozen.
  • 8 ounces linguine or fettuccine Spaghetti can also work.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Use coconut oil for dairy-free option.
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil Avocado oil can be a substitute.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic is essential.
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes Adjust spice level as needed.
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine Can replace with vegetable broth.
  • 1 Juice of 1 lemon Fresh juice preferred.
  • to taste salt and pepper Essential for seasoning.
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped Enhances flavor and presentation.

Method
 

Preparation & Cooking
  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp, cooking until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, allowing it to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet with the shrimp sauce.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with a side salad or crusty garlic bread. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
