- In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and season with salt and pepper. Cook until shrimp turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the white wine and lemon juice; cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Stir in chopped parsley.
- Serve over cooked pasta if desired.
Notes
Shrimp Scampi is best enjoyed fresh. Freeze before adding shrimp if necessary, and cook fresh shrimp when ready to serve.
