Pasta and Shrimp
  • 12 ounces Linguine or spaghetti The perfect base to soak up the sauce.
  • 1 pound Large shrimp Peeled and deveined.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather your ingredients and ensure the shrimp is peeled and deveined.
  2. Chop the fresh parsley and set it aside for garnish.
  3. Cook the linguine or spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat until melted.
  2. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Carefully add the shrimp to the skillet, cooking for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for another 2 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked pasta straight into the skillet, tossing to coat with the sauce.
  6. Squeeze the lemon juice over everything, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serving
  1. Plate the shrimp scampi over the pasta, making sure to drizzle extra sauce on top.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color.
  3. Serve with crusty bread for dipping into the sauce.
