Method
Preparation
- Gather all your ingredients and cooking tools including a large mixing bowl, whisk, and non-stick frying pan.
- In the mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
Cooking
- In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: milk, melted butter, and eggs.
- Slowly pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture. Stir gently until just combined; it's okay if the batter is a bit lumpy.
- Heat your non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly coat with cooking spray or butter.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden.
Serving
- Stack your pancakes on a warm plate.
- Top them with your favorite ingredients—think syrup, fresh fruit, or whipped cream.
- Enjoy them warm and gather around the table for a cozy breakfast experience!
Notes
Don’t overmix the batter; lumps are okay. Keep cooked pancakes warm in a 200°F oven if making a larger batch. Prepare dry ingredients in advance for quick breakfasts.
