- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, garlic, and ginger.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan and brown the flank steak on both sides.
- Transfer the beef to a slow cooker and pour the sauce over it.
- Cook on low for 4-5 hours until the beef is tender.
- Serve over rice and garnish with green onions.
Notes
Marinate the steak for a few hours before cooking to enhance flavors. For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper flakes to the sauce.
