Ingredients
  

For the yogurt sauce
  • 1 cup Non-fat plain Greek yogurt Can substitute with low-fat yogurt or sour cream.
  • 2 tablespoons Capers, chopped Can substitute with olives or pickles.
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped dill Fresh is ideal, dried dill can be used in a pinch.
For the appetizer
  • 24 slices 1/4-inch thick English cucumber Persian cucumbers are a great alternative.
  • 24 pieces Smoked salmon Choose high-quality smoked salmon or use lox or gravlax.
  • Dill for garnish Fresh dill Adds aroma and decoration.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, stir together the Greek yogurt, capers, and chopped dill until well combined.
  2. Place 1 teaspoon of the yogurt sauce onto each cucumber slice.
  3. Top each cucumber slice with a piece of smoked salmon and a small sprig of dill.
  4. Serve immediately, and watch them disappear!

Notes

Chill the assembled appetizers to enhance their flavor. Arrange on a decorative platter for visual appeal. Pairs well with crisp white wine or Champagne.
